We are seeking an experienced QLD Hard Rock Coordinator to join our expanding operations team, based at our Brisbane Hamilton office. This is a Monday–Friday position (full time in the office), working 6:00am–4:00pm, offering the opportunity to support our workforce and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of our business.

About the role

This exciting opportunity will see you leading and supporting a team of skilled tradespeople across the Hard Rock Mining sector in the Mount Isa region. Reporting to the Area Manager, the Coordinator will be responsible for providing end-to-end operational support, coordinating workforce allocation, and fostering strong relationships with both employees and clients. You will manage a diverse portfolio of site-based personnel, ensuring safe and efficient workforce delivery while driving employee engagement, performance, and operational excellence across multiple mining operations.

With support from the Area Manager, other experienced coordinators and a highly skilled operations administration team, the coordinator will be responsible for:

- Scheduling work to maintain a consistent work-flow

- Pursuing new work opportunities through existing and potential customer base

- Assisting with the recruitment of new team personnel including interviewing, employment offer negotiation and onboarding





- Day to day management of the field team including recognition and reward, plus performance management

- Regular travel across the Mount Isa region to conduct client visits and employee site check-ins.

- Drive a positive safety culture and reinforce safety messaging to the workforce

The successful candidate will have:

- Previous supervisory experience.

- Relevant trade qualification in mining.

- Previous experience within the Mining Industry in QLD.

- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to successfully manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise accordingly.

- Ability to work with and manage a agile team.

- Drive and passion to grow a business.

- Intermediate computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office)

- Ability to adapt and work with stakeholders at all levels inside and outside the business.
