AB Ag Parts & Oil is a growing agricultural retail business in Moree, specialising in quality aftermarket agricultural parts, filters, oils, lubricants and hydraulic hose repairs.

We’re looking for a motivated Parts & Hydraulics Salesperson to join us and become a key part of the business as we continue to grow.

This isn't a desk-only role. We’re looking for a genuine all-rounder who is happy serving customers at the counter, chasing up parts, making hydraulic hoses, receiving freight, picking and packing orders, maintaining stock and helping keep the shop and warehouse running smoothly.

If you have a background in agricultural machinery, automotive, heavy diesel, spare parts, hydraulics or a similar industry, we’d particularly like to hear from you.

About the role

No two days will necessarily look the same. You’ll work directly with customers, suppliers and management across the day-to-day operation of the parts business.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing friendly, professional customer service

- Handling parts enquiries, quotations and sales

- Identifying and sourcing agricultural, automotive and machinery parts

- Making and repairing hydraulic hoses

- Assisting customers with hydraulic hose and fitting requirements

- Receiving, checking and putting away incoming freight

- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders

- Managing stock and maintaining accurate inventory

- Processing orders and coordinating freight

- Keeping the showroom, parts area and warehouse organised

- Assisting with stocktake and inventory control

- Building relationships with customers and suppliers

- Helping identify sales opportunities and grow the business

- General day-to-day duties involved in operating a busy agricultural parts store

About you





We’re looking for someone who is practical, reliable, organised and good with people.

For the right person with a good attitude and willingness to learn, training can be provided.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- A practical or mechanical mindset

- Confidence dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone

- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems

- Positive organisational skills and attention to detail

- The ability to work independently and get things done

- A willingness to learn new products and skills

- A positive, friendly and professional attitude

- An interest in agriculture, machinery, automotive or mechanical products

Highly regarded

Experience in any of the following would be a major advantage:

Agricultural machinery • Spare parts • Parts interpreting • Hydraulic hoses and fittings • Heavy diesel • Automotive parts • Bearings and filters • Oils and lubricants • Warehousing • Inventory/stock control • Retail or trade sales

Hydraulic hose experience would be highly regarded, but isn't essential if you're mechanically minded and willing to learn.
