About the role

As a Dental Assistant at Blackburn Orthodontics, you will provide chairside assistance to specialist clinicians across a range of orthodontic procedures in a busy clinical environment. You will prepare treatment rooms and patients, help provide an excellent clinical experience, and work closely with the clinical and reception teams to support efficient patient flow.

Key responsibilities

- Provide chairside assistance to specialist clinicians across a range of orthodontic procedures

- Prepare treatment rooms and patients, helping to provide an excellent clinical experience

- Sterilise, process and prepare instruments in accordance with infection control standards

- Take accurate clinical photographs and digital intraoral scans

- Work closely with the clinical and reception teams to support efficient patient flow

- Maintain a clean, organised and well-prepared clinical environment

- Assist with stock management and restocking as required

About you

- Previous dental assisting experience (highly desirable)

- Certificate III in Dental Assisting (highly desirable)

- Previous experience with orthodontic procedures is advantageous, but not essential

- Strong verbal and written English communication skills

- A professional, friendly and patient-focused approach





- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

- The ability to manage your time effectively in a fast-paced environment

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute to the team
