A professional and highly organised Experienced Medical Administrator to join a well-established specialist cardiology practice located at the Mount Medical Centre on the Perth CBD fringe.

This is a busy and fast-paced specialist environment, and the position would particularly suit someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in providing excellent patient care and is confident managing competing priorities throughout the day.

The position is full-time and permanent, remunerated at $32.00 per hour plus superannuation, with parking provided.

The Position
This is a varied role encompassing all aspects of specialist medical administration, including:

- Managing patient appointments and busy clinic schedules
- Providing professional and compassionate service to patients both in person and over the phone
- Managing referrals, correspondence and patient records
- Medicare billing and administrative processing
- Coordinating follow-up appointments and investigations
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy specialist practice
- Liaising with patients, referrers and healthcare professionals
- Assisting with clinical administration tasks as required

About You
To be successful in this position, you will ideally possess:

- Previous experience in medical administration, medical reception or specialist practice administration
- Experience within cardiology or another specialist medical setting will be highly regarded
- The ability to remain organised and composed within a busy, fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills




- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A professional, compassionate and patient-centred approach
- Strong computer skills and confidence learning new software systems
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a team

Previous specialist medical administration experience will be highly regarded; however, candidates with strong experience in general practice, allied health or other busy medical environments are also encouraged to apply.
