Junior Carpenter wanted. You'll learn the trade, and how a whole house comes together.

Templ Constructions is a residential builder in Melbourne and the Yarra Valley. We do renovations, extensions and second storey additions, and every now and then a new build that pushes us.

We're after a junior carpenter who wants to be taught. Not someone who already thinks they know it all. Someone early in their career who wants to get properly positive at carpentry and understand how a home gets built from start to finish.

We're looking for a young, self aware carpenter who's looking to not only grow on the building site, but chase personal growth alongside the team

What the job is

You'll work on the tools with our team, led by an experienced site supervisor. You'll do framing, lock up, Fixing stage, decking, doors and windows, and everything else in between.

You'll also learn the stuff most juniors never get shown: how to read a set of plans, why jobs get sequenced the way they do, how trades fit around each other, and what "done properly" looks like before a client sees it.

What we're looking for

- Qualified carpenter early in your career, or a 4th year apprentice

- Some renovation experience is a bonus,

- Turns ahead of time, ready to work

- Asks questions, takes feedback without sulking, and gets better

- Current driver's licence and White Card

- Your own tool kit and Work vehicle.

- Optimistic attitude towards the job
