About the role

We're looking for a qualified, skilled and dependable Electrician to join our team, delivering electrical maintenance services across commercial and industrial sites in Canberra and the surrounding region. You'll bring trade qualifications and hands-on experience, ensuring high-quality work and full compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment across various sites

- Ensure compliance with all electrical safety regulations and standards

- Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems and equipment

- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out timely repairs

- Work with the Maintenance Manager on site inspections and maintenance planning

- Provide accurate reports on completed work and any recommendations

- Respond to emergency electrical issues safely and promptly

- Safely operate electrical tools and equipment

- Perform other electrical maintenance duties as required

About you

- Current driver's licence

- Trade qualification as an Electrician (Cert III in Electrotechnology or equivalent)

- Current Electrical Licence and relevant industry certifications





- Previous electrical maintenance experience, ideally commercial or industrial

- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical documents

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Physically capable of lifting and carrying electrical equipment

- Valid White Card, plus asbestos and silica awareness training (mandatory)

- Ability to obtain a Police Check and Level 1 Security Clearance

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
