This well-established organisation offers supportive leadership, and a team that enjoys working together. The payroll function is currently supporting a number of project initiatives, and this newly created role will provide essential BAU coverage.

You can be based in either the Brisbane City or northern Gold Coast Offices, with Thursdays & Fridays working from home.

About the Role

This is a full time (38 hours per week) temporary Payroll Officer role for an experienced, steady pair of hands who can step in and keep the wheels turning. You'll support end-to-end payroll processing while ensuring data integrity and first-class service to employees.

Key responsibilities include:

- End-to-end payroll processing
- Maintaining employee payroll records, leave balances and pay adjustments
- Processing salaries, superannuation and employee entitlements
- Award and enterprise agreement interpretation
- Payroll reconciliations and reporting
- Assisting with payroll compliance and audit requirements
- Responding to employee payroll queries




- Supporting the broader payroll team with BAU and month-end activities

About You

You'll bring:

- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong clerical skills with confidence using Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple tasks
- Previous payroll experience with exposure to a variety of systems
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a team

The Benefits

- $45.00 - $55.00 per hour + super
