The firm provides Business Advisory, CFO Advisory, Tax, Audit and Financial Planning, giving its team exposure to a diverse range of clients and services.

Due to an exciting period of growth in Brisbane, the firm is looking for several experienced Senior Business Services Accountants to strengthen its existing team. You’ll take ownership of your client portfolio, work closely with experienced Partners and can develop towards future leadership and Partnership roles. Senior Partners regularly visit the Brisbane office, providing valuable access to senior leadership and mentoring.

Ideally, you’ll have 4+ years’ Australian public practice experience, strong Business Services and Tax experience and be CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion. You’ll also need strong technical accounting skills, confidence managing clients independently and the ability to support and mentor junior team members. Our client is a highly respected accounting and advisory firm with a strong presence across Southeast Queensland, providing audit, tax, business advisory and financial planning services to a diverse client base. Their Brisbane inner-north office is a growing branch supported by the resources and experienced leadership of a larger firm.

Due to continued growth and a gap between the Director/Partners and the accounting team, they are seeking a Senior Tax & Business Services Accountant to provide leadership, mentoring and support to the team while helping the Director drive the branch forward.

This is a flexible role that can be shaped around your strengths. You may focus on servicing the firm’s clients while mentoring junior accountants, assist the Director with networking and business development, or combine both. You will manage tax returns, BAS, financial statements, tax planning and advisory work for a varied portfolio of SMEs, family groups and larger entities, while building strong client relationships and contributing to the growth of the Brisbane office.

You will ideally be CA/CPA qualified or working towards your qualification, with solid Australian public practice experience across tax and business services. The role could suit an experienced Senior Accountant ready for a higher-level position, a strong Senior Intermediate looking for career progression, or an accountant with a genuine flair for client relationships and business development.
