Job Description:
Position Title: Speech Pathologist
Employment Type: Full time
Location: Australia

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized assessment tools.

Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable short- and long-term goals.

Deliver therapy sessions in clinic, community, and home settings where required.

Prepare therapy materials, activities, and exercises tailored to client needs.

Monitor and document client progress through clinical notes and reports.

Prepare reports required for care planning and funding purposes.

Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals.





Liaise with multidisciplinary teams including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and support coordinators.

Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with skilled standards.

Provide guidance and education to families to support therapy goals.

Skills and Qualifications:

Degree in Speech Pathology / Speech Therapy or related field.

Solid clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.

Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
