Key Responsibilities:

Provide patient-centred, evidence-based medical care across a wide range of acute, chronic, and preventive health issues.

Conduct consultations, examinations, investigations, and diagnosis in line with RACGP standards.

Prescribe and manage medications, treatment plans, and referrals to specialists and allied health providers as appropriate.

Perform minor procedures within scope of practice (e.g., wound care, immunisations, skin excisions, care plans).

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records using practice software (e.g., Best Practice, MedicalDirector).

Collaborate with practice nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to ensure coordinated patient care.

Participate in practice quality improvement, health promotion initiatives, and ongoing education.

Comply with Medicare, PBS, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognised in Australia.

Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) (or working towards).

Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner (General or Specialist).

Eligibility to access Medicare rebates (provider number).

Current Qualified Indemnity Insurance.

Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or ability to obtain).

CPR certification (within the last 12 months).
