nA busy Japanese restaurant is looking for an experienced Full Time Chef to join our team.n

nPosition: Full Time Chefn

nEmployment: Full Time (38 hours per week)n

nLocation: Southern Rivern

nSalary: $80,000 – $82,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on experiencen
n
nJob Description:n
n
n1. Monitoring the quality of the dishes at all stages of preparation and paying particularn
n
nattention to presentation.n
n
n2. Setting up food preparation and cooking utensils prior to cooking.n
n
n3. Studying each recipe and gathering all necessary ingredients.n
n
n4. Preparation of dishes according to the menu.n
n
n5. Cooking variety of dishes on the menu.n
n
n6. Minimizing waste.n
n
n7. Ensuring the storage of food is done correctly and that storage does not exceedn
n
npermissible standards.n
n
n8. Ensure compliance and enforcing hygiene with all health and safety regulation withinn
n
nthe kitchen area.n
n
n9.



Serve consistent presentation of dishes.n
n
n10. Liaise with head chef, kitchen staff and waiting staff in regards of discussing foodn
n
nreparation issues to deliver excellent customer service and satisfaction.n
n
nRequirements:n
n
n1. Relevant commercial cookery qualification.n
n
n2. At least 1 year of experience.n
n
n3. Experience in Japanese cuisine preferred.n
n
n4. Positive knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.n
n
n5. Ability to work in a quick-paced team setting.n
n
n6. Available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.n
n
n7. Australian work rights or eligibility to work in Australia.n
n
