Chef – Shore School

Cater Care is looking for a qualified and motivated Chef to join our team at Shore School in North Sydney. This is a great chance for a Chef seeking a secure Monday to Friday role, working 40 hours per week with a consistent roster of 11:00am to 7:30pm.

About the Role

Working within a busy education workplace, you will be responsible for preparing and producing quality meals while supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
High-volume and bulk food production
Food preparation and general kitchen duties
Working independently and managing daily kitchen requirements
Following recipes, menus and portion requirements
Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
Supporting the kitchen team to deliver efficient service
Ensuring all food is prepared and handled in accordance with relevant food safety requirements
