Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and inspiring General Manager to lead the Novotel (Peppers) Barossa Valley Resort in South Australia's Barossa Valley. This is a pivotal leadership position where you will oversee all aspects of resort operations, drive strategic initiatives, and deliver exceptional guest and employee experiences while maintaining financial performance and operational excellence. As General Manager, you will be responsible for setting the vision, building and engaging a high-performing team, and ensuring the resort operates at the highest standards of hospitality.
Provide strategic leadership and direction for all resort operations and functions, including rooms, food and beverage, and recreational facilities.
Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue targets, optimize profitability, and drive sustainable growth
Oversee budget planning, financial forecasting,



and P&L; management to ensure fiscal responsibility and operational efficiency
Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of department heads and staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences through quality assurance programs and service standards aligned with brand expectations
Manage relationships with key stakeholders
Monitor market trends, competitive positioning, and guest feedback to identify prospects for innovation and service enhancement
Oversee capital projects, including the refurbishment and rebranding projects, and resource allocation to optimize asset performance
Represent the resort at industry events, community functions, and corporate meetings to enhance brand visibility and reputation
