Ivan's Pies is a proudly Australian owned and operated food manufacturing company known for our commitment to producing high quality, artisanal pies and pastries. We are seeking a qualified or sufficiently experienced Line Leader, Baker, Pastry Chef or Cook to join our production team on a full time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday - no weekends.

About the Role

n

In this role, you will be part of a hands-on production team that is responsible for setting the day up for success by preparing a range of pastry rolls and a wide variety of fillings ready for the production line.

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
Preparing, baking and finishing pastry and pie products
n
Following process diligently and measuring and mixing ingredients to transparent specification
n
Operating production equipment including mixers, sheeters, kettles and other specialist plant equipment
n
Maintaining consistent product quality and food safety standards
n
Cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment
n
Adhering to HACCP, GMP and OHS requirements
n

About You

n

To be successful,



you will have:

n

n
Experience as a Food Manufacturing Line Leader, Baker, Pastry Chef or Cook (commercial or manufacturing environment preferred)
n
A relevant trade qualification (highly regarded but not essential - we will also accept relevant work experience)
n
An understanding of Food Safety, Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards
n
A reliable work ethic and strong attention to detail
n
Physical capability to perform manual handling (up to 15-25kg)
n
A team-focused approach and commitment to quality
n
