About the Role
Price's Fabrication + Steel is seeking an experienced Welder to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating steel components for custom sheds, structures and other agricultural and commercial projects.
The role requires a robust focus on quality, accuracy and safe work practices, with the ability to interpret drawings and work effectively as part of a fabrication team.

Key Responsibilities
Welding and fabricating steel components for sheds, structures and custom projects
Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and specifications
Measuring, cutting,



fitting and assembling steel components
Performing MIG welding and other appropriate welding techniques
Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
Using fabrication tools, machinery and equipment safely
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Following workplace health and safety procedures
Working collaboratively with other fabricators and workshop staff

Essential Requirements
Previous experience as a Welder or Metal Fabricator
Experience with steel fabrication and welding
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
Positive understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Australian work rights

Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent
Experience in structural steel fabrication
Experience working with agricultural, commercial or rural steel structures
Relevant welding qualifications or tickets
