Job Description

Stripes Civil are seeking an experienced and motivated Pipelayer to join our growing civil construction team. Working across a variety of infrastructure and subdivision projects, you will be responsible for the installation of stormwater, sewer, water reticulation pipelines while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

Install and connect pipework including stormwater, sewer, and water mains.
n
Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
n
Set out and maintain pipe grades and levels.
n
Install pits, manholes, culverts, and associated drainage structures.
n
Work alongside excavator operators and civil construction crews.
n
Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
n
Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
n

About you

n

n
Previous experience as a Pipelayer within the civil construction industry.




n
Ability to read plans and understand levels and grades.
n
Robust understanding of trenching and excavation safety requirements.
n
White Card (Construction Induction).
n
Current Driver's Licence.
n
Ability to work effectively within a team workplace.
n
Solid commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
Pipe laser experience (Highly regarded)
n
Confined Space Entry Ticket (highly regarded).
n
Excavator, Roller, Loader or other plant operator tickets (highly regarded).
n
