Visual Empire is a Sydney-based visual merchandising and events business delivering large-scale Christmas, seasonal and commercial installations for major shopping centres, property groups and entertainment venues.
n
We are looking for experienced Installation Team Leads to supervise and work alongside our seasonal installation crews.
n
The role
n
You will:
n
n
Lead teams of casual installers on site
n
Work hands-on with the crew
n
Read and follow plans, drawings and installation briefs
n
Allocate tasks and keep jobs moving efficiently
n
Maintain installation quality and presentation standards
n
Coordinate loading, unloading and basic site logistics
n
Troubleshoot problems on site
n
Communicate with Visual Empire management
n
Assist with dismantles and pack-downs
n
Help train and support newer installers
n
n
About you
n
We are looking for people who are:

Reliable and organised
n
Practical and hands-on
n
Confident leading a crew
n
Comfortable solving problems independently
n
Physically capable of installation work
n
Comfortable working evening, overnight and weekend shifts
n
n
Relevant experience may include:
n
n
Events and activations
n
Visual merchandising
n
Exhibitions
n
Staging or set building
n
Shopfitting
n
Construction
n
Signage
n
Commercial installations
n
Warehouse/logistics
n
Leading hand or site supervision
n
n
A driver's licence is highly desirable. EWP, Working at Heights, White Card or similar tickets are advantageous.
n
Hours
n
Our busiest period is October to January. Many commercial installations take place after trading hours, often starting around 4:30–5:30 pm and finishing late at night or early morning.
