Tarneit Autobody Work, a well-established automotive repair business located in Truganina (3029), VIC, is currently seeking two full time qualified Motor Mechanics to join their growing team.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

Identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and related components
n
Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems, and other vehicle parts for inspection
n
Repair or replace worn or damaged parts using service manuals where required, and reassemble mechanical systems
n
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune-ups, to improve performance and ensure compliance with emissions standards
n
Reassemble engines and other components after repair work is completed
n
Test and adjust mechanical parts to ensure optimal operation
n




Use computer-based diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and assess vehicle issues
n
Conduct vehicle inspections and issue roadworthiness certificates or provide a list of required repairs
n
Respond to roadside breakdowns and provide mobile repair services when necessary
n

Requirements:

Certificate III or higher in a relevant automotive field
n
Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience
n

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year

Schedule: 8 hour shift
