Lead a kitchen in the heart of Surfers Paradise!

The Clock Hotel is looking for a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at our bistro-style restaurant in the heart of Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast.

n

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on chef who enjoys leading a team, creating great food and being part of a fun and energetic hospitality workplace.

n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who:

n

n
Has a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Head Chef
n
Can confidently lead and manage a team of up to 10 chefs and cooks
n
Is an excellent communicator and team leader
n
Has robust staff management and organisational skills
n
Enjoys training and developing apprentices and junior chefs
n
Has experience with cocktail functions and events
n




Is experienced in high-volume cooking and service
n
Has experience with ordering, stock control and stocktaking
n
Has a good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
n
Is positive, energetic and enjoys having fun at work
n
Wants to enjoy the fantastic lifestyle the Gold Coast has to offer!
