About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join the finance team and work closely with the Financial Controller and CFO. This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of the day-to-day bookkeeping function while supporting the wider finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day bookkeeping and financial transactions
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Bank and general ledger reconciliations
Month-end support and reporting
Maintaining accurate financial records
Supporting the Financial Controller and CFO with ad hoc finance requirements
About You
Previous experience as a Senior Bookkeeper, Bookkeeper or Finance Officer
Strong AP, AR, reconciliations and bookkeeping experience
MYOB experience highly desirable, with other ERP systems also considered
Property or construction experience advantageous
Solid attention to detail and organisational skills
Proactive, reliable and able to take ownership
Outstanding personality and strong communication skills — someone who enjoys being part of a team
