Rex Plumbing offers a comprehensive range of plumbing services in both residential and commercial fields with clients across Government, Aged Care & Retirement Living, Healthcare and Education sectors.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for a motivated Plumbing Apprentice to join our team and kick-start a career in the trade. This role would suit a school leaver, or someone looking for a change, who is keen to learn from experienced, qualified plumbers.

You'll be joining a friendly and supportive team who are hardworking, highly motivated and enjoy a laugh along the way.

n

Based in North Melbourne, we service clients across all of Melbourne.

n

About You:

n

n
No prior experience necessary. Just a genuine interest in a career in plumbing and a solid work ethic
n
Willing to attend TAFE/RTO training as part of your apprenticeship and apply what you learn on the job
n
A problem solver. You show initiative in solving problems the right way, not the easy way!
n
Someone who doesn't mind their own company. Can work autonomously as well as part of a team




n
Qualified and well presented, with outstanding communication skills
n
Will focus on being safe every day in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations
n
Good with words. You are able to write explicit and concise job notes
n
Reliable, punctual and eager to learn from experienced tradespeople
n

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in, or eligible to enrol in, a Certificate III in Plumbing
n
Current or willing to obtain a red/white card
n
Current driving license
n
Able to obtain Police and Working with Children (Employee) Checks
n
Structured on-the-job training and mentoring from experienced, qualified plumbers
n
A clear pathway and support to complete your Certificate III in Plumbing
n
Tools and PPE provided
