Task & Responsibilities

n

n
Installation of plasterboard (gyprock) to walls and ceilings
n
Setting, jointing, sanding, and finishing
n
Cornice installation and finishing
n
Patch repairs and maintenance work
n
Ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards
n
Measuring, cutting, and fitting plasterboard sheets according to building plans and specifications
n
Applying wet plaster,



compounds, and adhesives to walls, ceilings, and partitions
n
Preparing and cleaning surfaces prior to plastering and finishing work
n
Erecting and using ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment safely on construction sites
n
Reading and interpreting construction drawings, measurements, and specifications to determine plastering requirements
n
