CASUAL position available in Ipswich and surrounding suburbs.

Do you have a passion for working with people with a disability and/or mental health concerns? Affinity Disability Servicesare looking for Disability Support Workers to join our team in Ipswich.

Your Role

n

As a Disability Support Worker you will be supporting themost significant people in our organisation - our participants.

n

Your tasks may include:

n

Providing the very best care and support to participants in line with their care plans and NDIS goals.

n

Undertake personal care duties which may include cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and social and community participation.

n

Provide support duties which may include shopping,



transport etc

n

You have:

Ability to build rapport and engage with participants

Cert 3, or above, in Disabilities, or a related area, or currently studying such
n
Blue card and yellow card or ability to obtain these
n
Current Queensland driver's licence and a registered carwith comprehensive car insurance
n
Current first aid and CPR
