Domestic Assistant – Support Worker Bundaberg, Childers and Woodridge

HV Care is looking for warm, reliable Domestic Assistants to support elderly clients across Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Childers and Maryborough with everyday tasks that help them stay protected, independent, and living well at home.

n

Key responsibilities

n

Helping clients with general household tasks – cleaning , tidying, and organising shopping

n

Supporting light domestic duties that make daily life easier and safer

n

Encouraging clients to maintain their independence and routines at home

n

Building genuine, respectful relationships with the people you support

n

Following infection control and safety guidelines, and acting quickly if an emergency arises

n

Taking part in ongoing training and development

n

About you

n

A valid driver's licence

n

Your own reliable vehicle

n

A current First Aid Certificate

n

Certificate II or III in Cleaning Operations or Individual Support (nice to have)

n

Previous experience in a similar support or domestic assistance role (nice to have)

n





An understanding of the needs of older people and their carers (nice to have)

n

A friendly, can-do attitude and robust communication skills (nice to have)
