My client, an established Electrical Contractor with a strong reputation across the Melbourne commercial fit out and refurbishment market has asked me to assist them in securing the services of an experienced project manager to grow their existing team due to continued wins and a healthy pipeline of work.This is a hands-on project management position suited to someone who enjoys working closely with clients, consultants, builders and site teams to deliver quality projects in a fast-paced environment.The RoleAs Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of commercial fit out and refurbishment projects, managing the electrical package across:Project planning, programming and deliveryProcurement and subcontractor managementProject budgets, cost control and financial reportingVariations, progress claims and monthly forecastingManaging RFIs, design coordination and technical queriesLiaising with builders, consultants, clients and key stakeholdersCoordinating site teams, trades and subcontractorsEnsuring projects are delivered to programme, budget and quality requirementsManaging project documentation, QA and HSEQ requirementsIdentifying and managing project risksSupporting handover, defects and project close-outThe ideal candidate will be an experienced (3+ years)
