Senior Pool Installer / Pool Construction SupervisorDaydream Pools is looking for an experienced Senior Pool Installer / Pool Construction Supervisor to join our growing team.This is a hands‐on senior position working closely with the Owner and Site Supervisor to ensure our projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the high standard our customers expect.You'll play a key role in leading installations and managing the day‐to‐day work on site, while still being actively involved in the physical installation process.
You'll oversee labourers and pool installers, coordinate site activities and subcontractors, solve problems as they arise, and help keep each project on schedule.We undertake projects throughout Queensland, so the role will involve some travel and overnight stays when installations take us outside our usual Brisbane and Sunshine Coast service areas.Key responsibilitiesLeading and working hands‐on with pool installation crewsInstalling precast concrete plunge pools and associated equipmentAssisting with freeform concrete pool constructionCompleting pool plumbing, filtration and equipment installationReading construction plans, engineering details and setting out poolsCoordinating subcontractors, machinery and day‐to‐day site activitiesIdentifying and resolving site issues as they ariseTaking ownership of jobs and making practical decisions on site when requiredMaintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and site presentationSupervising,



supporting and developing junior installers and labourersCommunicating closely with the Owner and Site Supervisor regarding progress, scheduling and site requirementsEnsuring projects continue to move efficiently and are completed to Daydream Pools' standardsAbout youWe're looking for someone who is experienced, practical and comfortable taking responsibility on site.
You'll need to be able to lead a crew while also being willing to get in and do the work alongside them.Ideally, you will have:Several years' experience in swimming pool construction or installation; applicants with strong construction or trade backgrounds will also be consideredGood knowledge of pool construction, plumbing, filtration and pool equipmentExperience installing precast and/or concrete swimming poolsAbility to read plans, engineering drawings and site documentationStrong practical problem‐solving skillsLeadership experience or the confidence to supervise and direct other team membersA positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a small teamA strong focus on workmanship,
