This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial and residential plumbing projects.
As a key member of our plumbing team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing services, maintaining professional standards, and contributing to the continued success of our operations in the Canberra region.Key responsibilitiesInstall, repair and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial propertiesDiagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions to customersRead and interpret plumbing plans and specificationsEnsure all work complies with relevant Australian plumbing codes and standardsUse a range of plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectivelyTest plumbing systems to ensure they function correctlyCommunicate professionally with customers and provide advice on plumbing maintenanceMaintain a clean and safe work environment on all job sitesPotentially mentor and support apprentices or junior plumbers where applicableAbout youProven experience as a plumber or journeyman plumber in the residential and/or commercial sectorStrong knowledge of Australian plumbing codes,



standards and regulationsProficiency with plumbing tools, equipment and testing devicesAbility to read and interpret technical plumbing drawings and specificationsSound problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and customer service skillsA valid driver's licence and own reliable transportCurrent First Aid certification is desirableExperience in gas fitting or irrigation systems would be advantageousAbout usCoopers Plumbing and Irrigation Pty Ltd is a small plumbing and irrigation service provider operating in the ACT and wider Canberra region.
