Key ResponsibilitiesThe focus of the classroom teacher is to plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes.
The classroom teacher will teach a range of classes and is accountable for the effective delivery of their programs.
The classroom teacher utilises critical reflection in order to improve knowledge and skills to better engage students and improve their learning.An integral aspect of the planning is to embed the spiritual characteristics and values of the school in all aspects of learning and teaching.The successful candidate will demonstrate that they:Plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomesUse critical reflection to improve the knowledge, learning and skills of studentsUse multiple sources of feedback on their classroom practice to inform their professional learning goalsShow a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school systemCan support and actively promote, and not undermine,
