Your Current Role
CV Services is seeking a motivated and technically capable Project Engineer to join our Electrical Infrastructure team.
Reporting to Project Managers, you will support the successful delivery of multiple electrical infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer or emerging Project Engineer looking to further develop their project management and commercial skills within a leading electrical contractor.
You will work closely with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and within budget.
This role will suit someone with experience across electrical infrastructure, utilities, substations, power distribution, ITS, industrial electrical projects, or major electrical construction works.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with the delivery of multiple electrical infrastructure projectsSupporting project planning, scheduling, procurement and coordination activitiesTracking project costs, variations, forecasting and financial performanceCoordinating site resources,



subcontractors and suppliersPreparing project documentation, reports and progress updatesSupporting contract administration and commercial management activitiesAssisting with stakeholder engagement and client communicationsMonitoring project risks and helping implement mitigation strategiesEnsuring compliance with safety, quality and project requirementsWorking closely with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to drive successful project outcomes
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related disciplineExperience delivering electrical infrastructure, utilities, industrial or construction projectsStrong technical understanding of electrical installation and infrastructure worksKnowledge of project planning, scheduling and project controlsExposure to commercial management, procurement and contract administrationStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management capabilitiesAbility to work effectively within a high-performing project delivery teamCommitment to safety, quality and continuous improvementProficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software




Highly regarded:
Previous experience working for an electrical contractorExposure to substations, power distribution, ITS, utilities or major infrastructure projectsElectrical trade qualifications in addition to engineering qualifications
