Nova City Ballet Pty Ltd - New Lambton NSWWe are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Business Manager to lead the day-to-day business operations of our dance school.
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the studio operates efficiently, sustainably and to a high professional standard.
Working closely with the CEO/Co-Founder, you will oversee people, administration, accounts, pricing, marketing and operational performance, while ensuring our studio remains a safe, welcoming and child-focused environment.
You will be the central escalation point for operational matters and will play an important role in supporting our teaching team and administration staff to deliver an exceptional experience for students and families.Key responsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day operations and administration of the dance schoolEnsure business systems, processes and procedures are productive, consistent and fit for purposeAct as the key escalation point for operational, staff, parent and student mattersLead, support and develop a team of 9 direct reportsProvide clear direction, accountability and performance managementFoster a positive, professional and collaborative workplace cultureReview the teaching schedule regularly to ensure it meets student needs while supporting the financial sustainability of the schoolOversee and review pricing structures in consultation with the CEO/FoundersSupervise the administration function and ensure high standards of customer servicePrepare and present monthly operational reports to the CEO/FoundersAbout youProven experience in business management,



operations or a similar leadership roleStrong people leadership and team management experienceExcellent organisational and administrative skillsExperience managing and developing direct reportsStrong commercial and financial awareness, including experience with pricing and operational performanceThe ability to analyse schedules, staffing and resources and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitabilityExcellent communication and conflict-resolution skillsConfidence acting as an escalation point and making sound, timely decisionsExperience working within or developing child safe workplace practicesValid Working with Children CheckAbout usNova City Ballet commenced in January **** with a mission to provide dancers of all ages and skills to explore the art of dance in state‐of‐the‐art facilities with world‐class teachers.
