This is a full‐time position based at our Castle Hill office, working closely with our engineering team on residential, commercial, and utility‐scale solar energy projects.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist engineers in the design, development, and testing of solar and renewable energy systems and componentsPrepare technical drawings, specifications, layouts, and documentation for solar PV installations and related energy systemsConduct site inspections, assessments, and feasibility studies for proposed solar energy installationsPerform system performance testing, monitoring, and evaluation of solar energy equipment and installationsAssist in the selection of appropriate materials, equipment, and components for renewable energy projectsProvide technical support during the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar energy systemsAnalyse and interpret technical data to identify system inefficiencies and recommend design improvementsEnsure all designs, installations,



and documentation comply with relevant Australian Standards, codes, and regulatory requirementsLiaise with engineers, project managers, contractors, and clients to support project delivery timelinesPrepare technical reports, project documentation, and compliance recordsContribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and renewable energy solutionsSkills and Experience RequiredRelevant qualification in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field (Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor's degree)Demonstrated experience in solar PV systems design, installation, or renewable energy engineering supportSound knowledge of solar energy systems, electrical principles, and renewable energy technologiesFamiliarity with relevant Australian Standards and compliance requirements for solar/renewable energy installationsProficiency with technical design and drafting software (e.g. AutoCAD, PVsyst, or similar)Solid analytical, problem‐solving, and technical documentation skillsExcellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineers, tradespeople, and clientsAbility to conduct site visits and inspections as requiredSalary Base salary: $79,499 – $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation.
Overtime and additional benefits may apply in accordance with the employment contract.
