Westhaven provides client-centric, high quality programs and activities that provide whole of life support for people with disability, including offering houses that are homes, enabling choice and control and supporting clients to live life the way they choose.About the role: As a Caseworker on this 6 month fixed-term contract based in Bathurst, you will coordinate casework responsibilities for children and young people (CYP) within Westhaven.Key ResponsibilitiesWork as part of a Therapeutic Care Team, managing the casework cycle for children and young people in careEnsure Case Plans are developed,



reviewed and implemented within set timeframesMaintain regular contact with children and young people, seek their views and opinions and monitor their wellbeingEnsure that data is collected and recorded in a timely wayEnsure that Casework is conducted consistent with the requirements of the NSW Office of the Children's Guardian (OCG)To be on the forefront of this opportunity you willHave knowledge and understanding of the Children and Young Person (Care and Protection) Act ****, NSW Child Secure Standards for Permanent Care and trauma informed practicesUnderstand the supports and issues of children and young people living with significant disabilitiesHave demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal communities, families and children specifically in relation to the placement of Aboriginal children and young people in OOHCBe proficient in report writing, have demonstrated ability to develop, organise and maintain records in a timely manner using client management databases and Google Suite (or similar)Have highly developed organisational skills,
