An American trading firm is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer for their teams based in Hong Kong or Sydney.ResponsibilitiesYour work includes automation, instrumentation, optimization, incident response, and consultative support for other engineering teams.RequirementsMinimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline, or equivalent experienceStrong background in computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, distributed systemsFully proficient in at least one up-to-date structured programming language (Python preferred)Comfortable with a range of current software development tools and practices (testing, source control, build systems, CI/CD, etc.)SQL and database experience is a strong plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills and a passion for solving problems
