$***** – $***** per hour, depending on experience, qualifications and ticketsPermanent, ongoing position — not a short-term contractRegularly working ***** hours per week, with significant overtime availableA genuine opportunity to maximise your weekly earningsJoin an established maintenance team on a large, busy siteAbout the role:You'll be applying protective coatings to large commercial vessels, barges, tug boats and marine structures in a heavy industrial environment.Day to day, you'll be:Preparing surfaces through sanding,



grinding and abrasive blastingApplying industrial protective coatings using airless spray and other methodsWorking with two-pack epoxy, polyurethane and similar coating systemsMixing coatings to manufacturer specifications and ensuring correct thickness and finishMasking, identifying surface defects and completing remedial preparationWorking at heights and in confined spaces around large vesselsWhat you'll bring:Previous experience as an Industrial PainterStrong surface preparation experience and a willingness to sandblastExperience using industrial spray equipment, particularly airless sprayAvailability for 6am starts and a genuine willingness to work significant overtimeAbility to pass a pre-employment medical and police checkExperience across marine, shipyards, heavy fabrication, structural steel, mining, oil and gas, heavy machinery or protective coatings will be highly regarded.
A trade qualification is preferred, though strong relevant industrial painting experience will also be considered.
