Restaurant & Training Manager – Kiki's TavernSouth Yarra | Full-Time | Immediate StartKiki's Tavern is a brand-new all-day hospitality venue in the heart of South Yarra, and we're looking for an experienced Restaurant & Training Manager to join our leadership team for an immediate start.This is a hands‐on management role for someone who loves being on the floor, developing people and creating exceptional hospitality.You'll play a key role in establishing the service standards and culture of Kiki's — leading the restaurant day‐to‐day while taking ownership of the training and development of our front‐of‐house team.RoleWorking closely with the Venue Manager and senior leadership team, you'll be responsible for:Leading busy restaurant services and maintaining a strong presence on the floorTraining, coaching and developing our FOH teamImplementing and maintaining Kiki's service standards and proceduresRunning structured onboarding and training for new employeesDeveloping the team's knowledge across food, wine, cocktails and general hospitalityConducting pre-service briefings and ongoing on‐the‐floor coachingEnsuring every guest receives warm, qualified and consistent serviceSupporting rostering, labour management and daily venue operationsIdentifying future leaders within the team and helping develop themWorking closely with the kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless serviceHelping build a positive,



accountable and high‐performing workplace cultureAbout YouWe're looking for someone with strong restaurant management experience who genuinely enjoys developing people.You'll ideally have:Experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Venue Manager, FOH Manager or similar senior hospitality roleA strong background in high‐volume, quality restaurants or premium hospitality venuesExcellent service standards and attention to detailConfidence leading and training a large FOH teamStrong food, wine and beverage knowledgeThe ability to coach people constructively and hold the team accountable to standardsExcellent communication and organisational skillsA hands‐on approach — you're happiest leading from the floor rather than managing from the officeA genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiencesWhy Kiki's?
