Job Description
Brisbane Isuzu is seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic service team.
This is a full-time position based at our Eagle Farm QLD facility.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring our clients receive reliable and safe vehicles.
This position is integral to our operations, as you will play a vital role in upholding Brisbane Isuzu's reputation for quality service and technical excellence.
Key responsibilities
Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing on heavy vehicles, including inspections, fluid checks, filter replacements and component adjustments
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using diagnostic equipment and technical expertise
Repair and replace defective parts, components and systems whilst adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
Conduct thorough testing and quality checks to ensure all repairs and servicing meet required standards before vehicle handover
Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work completed on vehicles
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair status, findings and recommendations
Comply with all health and safety regulations, workshop procedures and environmental guidelines
Contribute to a professional and collaborative workshop environment, assisting colleagues when required
What we're looking for
Valid automotive technician qualifications or equivalent demonstrated experience in heavy vehicle repair and maintenance
Proven experience working on heavy vehicles, including trucks,



buses or similar commercial vehicles
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmission systems, brake systems and electrical components
Competency with diagnostic equipment and computer-based vehicle systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work methodically and accurately
A valid driver's licence and willingness to test drive vehicles when required
Solid communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A commitment to health and safety practices and attention to detail
Experience with Isuzu vehicles is highly desirable but not essential
