We are seeking an Engineering Surveyorto join our Project Delivery Section within the Community Infrastructure Group.In this role, you will provide quality surveying services tosupport the planning, design and delivery of Council's infrastructure works andprojects.
Working across a diverse range of civil infrastructure, you willundertake engineering and investigation surveys, construction set out and Worksas Executed surveys, while providing specialist surveying advice to projectteams and stakeholders.This role is ideal for an experienced surveyor who enjoys amix of field and technical work, working across varied infrastructure projectsand contributing specialist expertise to projects that deliver lasting benefitsfor our community.To be successful in this position you will have:ADiploma in Surveying or a related discipline, or considerable relevantexperience within the surveying industryDemonstratedexperience using survey equipment including electronic distance measuringequipment, robotic survey equipment, total stations and GNSSExperienceusing survey and CAD software such as 12D and AutoCAD to prepare surveyplansSoundknowledge of survey infrastructure and the regulations and processesassociated with its protection, preservation and managementStrongwritten, verbal,



numeracy and interpersonal communication skillsAcurrent Class C Driver LicenceOn a typical day you will:Undertakeinvestigation and engineering survey works for Council infrastructureprojectsInvestigatecadastral boundary information and transform survey information to theappropriate geodetic networkInvestigateand verify above and below-ground utility locationsUndertakeconstruction set-out activities and Works as Executed surveysPreparesurvey plans and process survey data using specialist survey and CADsoftwareProvidespecialist engineering survey advice and support to Council project teamsSupportproject planning activities in accordance with Council's ProjectManagement FrameworkCoordinateexternal survey consultants and contractors when specialist or additionalsurvey services are requiredMaintainsurvey data collection systems, standards and quality processesEnsuresurvey equipment is appropriately maintained, serviced and calibratedUndertakerisk assessments and ensure appropriate controls are in place for surveyactivitiesThis is a great opportunity to apply your surveyingexpertise across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects while helpingdeliver quality outcomes for the Port Macquarie-Hastings community.Employment Type:Full Time, Permanent, 35 hours per weekStarting salary of $80,****** to $90,****** per annumdepending on skills and experience,
