ensuring legal and tax-productive structures for charitable giving and family foundationsEnsure compliance with all relevant laws, including tax, securities, trust and estate planning law, and AFSL obligations (working alongside the Compliance Manager)Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks, including conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies and governanceSkills and ExperienceAdmitted legal practitioner with a current practising certificate5+ years' post-admission experience, ideally combining private practice and in-house, with exposure to family office, private wealth, funds or M&ADemonstrated; ability across cross-border structuring, trusts and estate planning, and tax-aware structuringExperience managing external counsel and litigation; comfort operating as the sole/senior lawyer in a lean teamA trusted, discreet advisor style, commercially sharp and protective of the family's reputation, fluent across wealth, tax, corporate, disputes and philanthropy, with a pragmatic risk lens suited to a global, high-risk group and a track record of building function and process, not just advice.
