We are seeking an Information Security Analyst to join the team on a full-time basis.
This is a excellent opportunity to step into a Security role if you have worked in the IT industry for a couple of years.
This role will suit somebody who has worked in a service desk or has been part of the technical team at a managed service provider.
You must believe amazing customer service is a non-negotiable!
This is a highly technical role with 80% of your time being on the tools.
This role is not suitable for individuals with no experience in IT engineering or support.Key responsibilitiesAssisting cybersecurity program assessments utilising recognised industry frameworksScoping, planning and implementing uplift programmes within customer environments to support their cyber security goalsAssisting customers with Security IncidentsDeploying, managing and troubleshooting IT and IT Security related Controls and Applications.Assisting customers with the configuration of their security controlsAssisting with Response and Recovery Plan,



Playbook writing and reviewAssisting with evaluating cybersecurity risk profiles in relation to both technical conditions and business significanceAnalysing security risks, developing effective treatmentsArticulating risks and recommended treatments to business stakeholdersInvolvement in internal projects to help innovate security engineeringSupporting Security Consulting and Penetration Testing teams where requiredDue to the nature of the role, the ideal candidate will be located in Melbourne and able to attend the office.About youA good understanding of cyber security conceptsHands on technical experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure, predominately, but experience in AWS and Google Cloud would be advantageousSome hands on experience with tooling such as EDR and SIEM would be preferredHave a keen desire to learn and absorb new technologies including AI for automation and process improvementHave a risk-oriented mindset and strong attention to detailPossess excellent written and verbal communication skillsHave strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilitiesBe able to work independently and within a teamHave a proven ability to solve problems independently
