We're seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join a high-performing cyber security team focused on improving cyber resilience, reducing security risk and responding to emerging threats across a complex enterprise workplace.
Based in Sydney, this role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale security uplift initiatives that directly contribute to the protection of critical systems and services.The OpportunityYou'll be part of a specialised Vulnerability & Posture Management function, working closely with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, Identity and Technology teams to drive vulnerability remediation, security hardening and exposure reduction activities across the enterprise.
The role will see you assessing vulnerabilities, coordinating remediation efforts, supporting threat responses and helping to strengthen security governance, compliance and reporting capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive vulnerability management activities including identification, assessment, prioritisation and remediation governanceSupport responses to critical vulnerabilities, emerging threats and large-scale exposure eventsImprove security posture management and compliance assessment processesProvide expertise across vulnerability management platforms including Tenable and related technologiesPartner with infrastructure, cloud, identity and technology teams to reduce cyber riskSupport security hardening initiatives and secure configuration standardsDevelop metrics,



reporting and operational processes that support cyber risk managementContribute to enterprise-wide cyber security uplift and resilience programsAbout YouYou'll bring experience working in cyber security within complex enterprise environments and have a strong understanding of vulnerability management, security posture management and cyber risk reduction.Experience with vulnerability management platforms such as Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7 or similarStrong understanding of vulnerability management and system hardening practicesExperience with exposure management, attack surface management or risk-based vulnerability managementKnowledge of frameworks including Essential Eight, ASD ISM, NIST CSF and CIS BenchmarksStrong analytical, reporting and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience supporting audits, compliance activities and cyber risk programsAbility to communicate technical risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersHighly DesirableCISSP, CISM, CRISC, GIAC or equivalent certificationsRelevant tertiary qualifications in Cyber Security, Information Technology or related disciplinesWhat's On OfferSydney-based hybrid working arrangementOpportunity to work within a mature cyber security functionExposure to enterprise-scale security uplift and emerging threat response initiativesCollaborative and highly skilled security teamDon't Tick Every Box?
