You will work closely with SIP's Taxation Directors, take ownership of significant consulting engagements, guide less experienced team members and help shape consistent, high-quality tax consulting delivery.What you'll be doingManaging significant tax consulting engagements from scoping through to deliveryProviding senior-level advice across structuring, transactions,



tax planning and direct and indirect tax mattersLeading client relationships and acting as a senior contact on tax consulting mattersSupporting ATO engagement, reviews, objections and other compliance-related tax mattersReviewing technical work, advice and client communications prepared by other team membersCoaching and developing tax consulting team members, including through delegation, feedback and technical guidanceWorking closely with Taxation Directors, referrers and broader client service teamsWhat we're looking forRelevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce, law or a related disciplineCA, CPA or CTA qualification preferred10+ years' tax consulting experience in a professional services environmentDemonstrated experience managing complex tax advisory matters and reviewing technical workStrong experience across areas such as business and group structuring, M&A; transactions, corporate tax, trust and private group tax issues, GST and other indirect taxes, and ATO engagementConfidence managing senior client conversations and building trusted relationships with clients, Directors, referrers and external advisersExperience coaching, supervising or developing team membersValid working rights in AustraliaSIP Day and Social Club initiatives that support team connection and firm cultureOngoing learning and development opportunitiesStudy and professional development supportAccess to wellbeing supportA collaborative environment with strong mentoring and coaching supportSlomoi Immerman Partners is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and building an inclusive, respectful workplace where everyone can contribute and grow.
