Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you'll own end to end management of Workers' Compensation claims, with complex and high risk cases as the priority.
You'll drive early intervention, coordinate return to work, and keep claims on track across cost, risk and compliance.The role goes beyond claims administration.
You'll run case conferences with treating practitioners, coach leaders through return to work conversations, and act as the escalation point when an incident risks becoming a claim.Key responsibilities include:Lead end to end Workers' Compensation claims management,



prioritising high risk and complex casesEnsure compliance with Victorian Workers' Compensation legislationRun case conferences with treating practitioners to progress recovery outcomes and manage work capacityCoach site leaders on injury management and return to work practicesManage relationships with internal teams and external providers, including onboarding new providers, to drive timely claim resolutionSupport and monitor return to work programs to ensure safe, effective reintegrationReport on claims, financial exposure and risk to senior managementDrive continuous improvement in injury management processes and support a robust wellbeing cultureAbout YouYou have a thorough understanding of Victorian Workers' Compensation legislation and are comfortable operating in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
You build trust quickly, whether working with an injured employee, a site leader or a treating practitioner, and you're equally confident briefing senior management on claims exposure and leading a case conference.You'll also bring:5+ years' experience managing workers compensation claims, primarily in VictoriaQualifications in Business, Risk Management, Allied Health or a related disciplineA track record managing complex claims while maintaining compliance and paceStrong facilitation skills, with the ability to coach and train leaders rather than simply direct themSharp prioritisation and multitasking skills under pressureStrong communication skills, with the ability to influence at every level of the businessTo be eligible for consideration, applicants must also have the right to live and work in Australia.
