We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a local government organisation on a contract basis, supporting the delivery of a diverse Capital Works program across civil and building projects.You will be responsible for managing projects from inception through to handover, including contractor supervision, procurement, budgets, timelines, quality and compliance.Key responsibilities:Manage civil and building projects from planning through to completionSupervise contractors and manage project delivery, costs and timelinesReview plans, specifications, SWMS and ITPsManage variations, contractor payments and project documentationLiaise with contractors, consultants, utilities and internal stakeholdersProvide technical engineering advice and project reportingAbout you:Degree/Diploma in Civil or Building Engineering, or equivalent experienceDemonstrated experience supervising civil/building construction projectsStrong knowledge of OH&S;, environmental and traffic management requirementsStrong contractor and stakeholder management skillsConstruction White Card and current Australian driver's licence
