We are seeking a Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis.
This role is based in Narre Warren South, VIC **** and offers the opportunity to work on diverseWhat you'll be doingMeasuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wooden components according to specifications and design plansInstalling doors, windows, cabinetry, shelving, and other wooden fixtures in residentialReading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and design specificationsUsing a range of hand tools and power tools safely and effectivelyCollaborating with other tradespeople and project teams to ensure seamless project completionConducting quality inspections of work to ensure compliance with standards and client requirementsMaintaining a safe and tidy work environment in accordance with health and safety regulationsProviding advice to clients on materials, designs, and construction optionsWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Carpenter or Joiner,



ideally in residential carpentry workAdvanced proficiency with hand tools and power tools, including saws, chisels, sanders, and nail gunsStrong understanding of woodworking techniques, joinery, and cabinet makingAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accuratelyKnowledge of building codes, safety standards, and best practices in carpentryExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailPhysical fitness and ability to work at heights and in diverse conditionsStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a teamFlexibility and adaptability to manage multiple projects and changing prioritiesCurrent driving licence is preferred to ensure mobility between job sitesRelevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or a related trade are highly valued.
