you'll work closely with our Sydney-based team to assist with the day-to-day progression of restructuring and insolvency engagements.Your responsibilities will include:Extracting, reviewing and analysing financial informationConducting investigations and transaction analysisPreparing working papers and supporting investigation workAssisting with statutory reporting and reports to creditors and stakeholdersMaintaining insolvency software, file records and statutory checklistsPreparing reconciliations and other financial informationAssisting with the progression of recurring and statutory tasksWorking collaboratively with the Sydney team to progress matters efficiently and accuratelyEnsuring work is completed in accordance with relevant processes, statutory requirements and professional standardsWHAT YOU'LL BRING2-3+ years' experience in accounting, insolvency or a related professional services roleStrong accounting and financial analysis skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong written and verbal English communication skillsA proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of assigned workThe ability to manage priorities and work effectively within deadlinesStrong communication skills and confidence asking questions or seeking clarification when requiredA Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or a related disciplineExperience in Australian insolvency or restructuring will be highly regarded
