With multiple food and beverage outlets operating across a busy resort environment, our Kitchen team plays an important role in delivering consistently high-quality dining experiences for our guests.About the roleWe're looking for an experienced and passionate Executive Sous Chef to join our Kitchen leadership team, working closely with and reporting to the Executive Chef.This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting the operation of our busy kitchen, leading and developing the kitchen team and ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene and service.We're looking for someone who is confident leading from the front, enjoys developing people and can maintain high standards while working within a fast-paced resort environment.DutiesSupport the Executive Chef in leading, mentoring and developing the kitchen teamDrive consistency, quality and innovation across a high-volume resort operationAssist with rostering, food costs, purchasing and stock controlSupport menu development, seasonal offerings and new food conceptsEnsure high standards of food safety, hygiene and WHS complianceFoster a positive,



collaborative and high-performance kitchen culturePlay a key role in the launch and ongoing success of our new Adults Only Bar and Pool, supporting menu development, operational planning and service deliverySkills & experienceCertificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualificationFood Safety Supervisor certification – highly desirablePrevious experience in an Executive Sous Chef or similar leadership roleStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and support a diverse Kitchen teamStrong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, hygiene and quality standardsExperience with rostering, labour management, stock control and food costsExcellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skillsFlexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and public holidaysCulturePeople enjoy working at Paradise Resort because every role contributes to creating memorable experiences for our guests.Our Kitchen is a busy, hands-on setting where leadership, teamwork, consistency, communication and accountability are essential.
