B.V.A Metal Fabrications is an established engineering business based in Picton W.A., 5 minutes out of Bunbury, which has been in operation since ****.
We service the mining, timber, industrial, building and food processing industries with workshop fabrication, onsite installations, maintenance and laser cutting.Due to the growth of our business, we are currently looking for a full time Metal Fabricator to join our team.The ideal candidate is trade qualified and has at least two (2) years work experience as a Metal Fabricator.
Candidates need to demonstrate a high level of workmanship.
Uniforms and boots supplied after 3 month Qualifying period.As a Metal Fabricator your everyday responsibilities will include:Understanding and interpreting technical drawings.Choosing and preparing metal stock and operating metal press & guillotine machinery to cut,



shape and bend metal.TIG & MIG welding using mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium to join metal sections.Grinding and cleaning up of welds to finish products.Following OH & S requirements.In addition, the right candidate will be required to:Hold a relevant AQF Certificate III or higher (or equivalent)Hold a current C class drivers' licence.Hold a forklift ticket.Present with a strong work ethic.Be a strong team player.Prove to be reliable.Follow job specifications.Follow verbal directions.This is a full-time position offering a generous salary between $90,000 to $150,000 plus superannuation to the right candidate (depending on experience).
