About the roleGiannitto Family Hotels is seeking an experienced Gaming Manager / Duty Manager to join our team in Gawler, South Australia.
This is a full-time position that combines the operational oversight of a duty manager with hands‐on bar service expertise.
You will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining exceptional customer service standards, and managing bar service during your shifts.
This role is pivotal to creating a welcoming and efficient environment for our guests and staff, directly contributing to the success of our hospitality operations.Key responsibilitiesOverseeing bar and general hospitality operations during assigned shifts, ensuring all services run smoothly and efficientlyServing beverages and food with professionalism and attention to detail, maintaining high standards of customer serviceManaging cash handling, processing transactions accurately, and reconciling till records at the end of shiftsMonitoring stock levels for beverages, spirits and bar supplies, placing orders as needed and ensuring proper storageTraining and supporting bar staff, ensuring compliance with responsible service of alcohol (RSA) guidelines and house policiesMaintaining a clean, safe and hygienic bar environment in accordance with health and safety regulationsResponding to customer enquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionallyAssisting with the opening and closing procedures of the bar, including setting up equipment and completing end-of-shift dutiesCommunicating effectively with management regarding operational concerns, staff performance and customer feedbackUpholding company standards and contributing to a positive workplace cultureWhat we're looking forProven experience working as a bar attendant or in a similar hospitality role, preferably in a hotel or pub environmentExperience in a supervisory or duty manager capacity,
