Glencore is committed to providing an environment that adheres to the Respect at Work Legislation.Reporting to the CHPP Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, the CHPP Electrical Technician will perform all logistical and electrical maintenance functions within the Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) and minimising downtime whilst demonstrating a strong commitment to health, safety and the environment.In this role you will be responsible for:Providing safe and efficient assistance to operational equipmentPerforming electrical fault finding and diagnostics work at the CHPPConduct High voltage switchingInspect, maintain and repair electrical fixed plant in accordance with AS**** and relevant legislationMaintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.Roster and LocationFull-Time – Monday to Thursday/ Tuesday to Friday roster – 10 hours per dayBased on site at HVO (Lemington Road).
About YouElectrical Trade Qualification (NSW Electrical Supervisor or contractors licence)3+ years experience in fixed plant operations Industrial experience, conducting maintenance inspections, industrial installations, fault finding and repair of equipment including, yard machines (Stackers / Reclaimers),
