We are looking for an experienced Sheet-Metal Estimator to join our team in a wide-ranging, hands-on role.
This is not your typical desk-bound estimating position.
We are looking for someone with a strong sheet-metal trade background who understands fabrication, materials, labour and what it actually takes to get a job from quote through to completion.Key responsibilitiesEstimating and quoting stainless steel sheet metal and fabrication worksQuoting projects including handrails, balustrades, stainless steel and architectural metalworkReview and interpret drawings and specifications, ensuring customer requirements can be effectively translated into productionCalculating materials, labour and fabrication requirementsProcurement - ordering materials and maintaining workshop stockBuild and maintain strong relationships by liaising with customers,



suppliers and our workshop teamAssisting with job preparation and schedulingAnswering phones and helping walk-in customersPitching in with general workshop and business tasks when requiredAbout youExtensive experience within the sheet metal/fabrication industryPrevious estimating and quoting experienceStrong knowledge of fabrication methods, materials and processesExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong computer and organisational skillsA high level of accuracy and attention to detailA strong work ethic and willingness to get involvedThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamAbout usT&H; Sheetmetal is an established and growing Australian fabrication company based in Meadowbrook.
